  Let paint and crackle medium dry between applications. Project time does not include this drying time. You may want to practice your technique or check your color by first making a smaller sample print on cardstock.

  Download project template, increasing the template's size if needed before printing.

  Measure and mark a two inch border at the top and bottom of the canvas. Paint this border Seminole Green. After this paint has dried, reapply color.

  Measure and paint a 1-1/2 inch border along both vertical sides of the canvas. Paint this border using the slip slap method and Ulta Blue and Butter Cream.

  Measure a 1/2 inch border running horizontal just above and below the Light Foliage Greenborder. Paint this border White.

  Paint remaining square Dark Brown. After this paint has dried, reapply color.

  Apply medium following package directions and top with Butter Cream.

  Use transfer and tracing paper to transfer pattern from the template onto canvas.

  Paint rooster body Empire Gold, shade with Dark Brown and highlight with Butter Cream.

  Using Cardinal Red, paint comb and waddle. Highlight with Tangerine and shade with Dark Brown.

  Body feathers are painted with both Cardinal Red and Tangerine. Tail feathers are Ultra Blue and White.
